Since 1989
A branch that became a family
Ooty Central Open Bible Church of God was established in August 1989 as a branch of Open Bible Churches of God, Coimbatore, India.
Under the leadership of our founding pastor, Pastor J. Xavier, the Lord enabled the church to reach numerous villages in and around Ooty with the Gospel. Through the ministry, prayers, and support of this church, many local ministries were strengthened and several branch churches were established across the district.
Over the past three decades, the church has continued to grow and multiply. Many leaders, preachers, teachers, and servants of God have begun or developed their ministries through this humble church campus.
Throughout our journey, we have sought to remain committed to sound biblical doctrine, the leading of the Holy Spirit, and the mission of making Christ known.
Today, Ooty Central Open Bible Church of God continues to serve under the spiritual leadership and covering of Open Bible Churches of God, Coimbatore, India.
Many leaders, preachers, and teachers of God have begun or developed their ministries through this church campus.
